Step 1: Make a loop with the yarn in front of the pipe cleaner
Step 2: Insert your hook front to back and use your thumb to pin the tail of your yarn down while wrapping the working yarn (leads to your skein) around to the back of the pipe cleaner.
Step 3: Make a slst to secure the yarn to the wire.
Step 4: Fold the end of the wire over the bottom of the sl st just made (you can move your thumb now)
Step 5: With the yarn now secured, you can now continue to crochet around the pipe cleaner using any stitch you want!
